Ride when you need.

Who it's for
When a walker isn't enough — but a wheelchair is too much.
A walker can't keep you moving.
When your legs tire, it leaves you stuck.
A wheelchair stops you from moving.

Walk while you can. Sit and drive, or be pushed, when you tire. Hills handled either way.
Why it's different

Our story
Built on experience
Betterbility was co-founded by a physiotherapist and an occupational therapist. Through years of working with ageing clients navigating changing mobility needs, our founders saw the same challenge repeat itself: people forced to choose between a walker and a wheelchair, despite needing both in the same day. Betterbility brings to market a single device designed to adapt to changing needs, combining walking support and seated mobility. Backed by clinical experience, firsthand insight, and a belief that freedom shouldn't have an expiry date, Betterbility exists to help people move through life with greater confidence and independence.
Good to know
Questions, answered.
One adult user up to 120 kg whose mobility changes through the day. Per the user guide it is not suitable for minors, people with severe heart conditions, or anyone unable to navigate safely. If you're unsure, ask your health professional or contact us.
It's rated for a maximum climbing angle of 10° — motor assist helps uphill and automatic electronic braking helps keep downhill controlled. It's designed for everyday surfaces including footpaths, ramps and grass, but not rough off-road terrain.
Per the user guide: 2 years on the main frame, and 1 year each on the motor, battery and controller. Exclusions apply (improper use, overload, unauthorised modification, water beyond IPX4, incorrect charging). Full terms will be published with your order documents.
It's IPX4 splash resistant — designed for everyday splashes and light rain. It is not designed for submersion, pressure washing, showering, deep puddles, or heavy rain.
The removable lithium battery (24V / 6.6 Ah) charges on or off the device using the supplied charger, in about 2–3 hours. The charger light glows red while charging and turns green when complete.
